If you find you require a proxy server on Telegram, use this quick and easy guide to set it up. This guide utilises our residential proxies.  

On Your Device:

To begin, you will need to purchase the proxies. Purchase your residential proxies from the Rampage Dashboard and generate them. If you need to refresh your memory on how to generate proxies, you can do that here. Once purchased, on the Telegram app navigate to the top left to click on the bar stack. When this opens the menu, click > "Settings".

Once this is open, you'll need to go to > "Advanved" to open up the network settings:

Configuring Your Proxy Server:

Once you've done this, you'll head to > "Connection Type" at the top of the advanced menu. This will present the proxy settings menu. Click "Use custom proxy" as shown below.

Finally, you'll need to enter your proxy details that you've generated from the dashboard. As reminder: all our proxies are structured like so, separated by a colon as shown here. [IP/SERVER]:[PORT]:[USERNAME]:[PASSWORD]

You'll need to select "HTTP" (as we currently do not support the SOCKS or MTPROTO protocols).

1. Hostname (IP/SERVER)
2. Port
3. Username
4. Password

Checking Your Proxy Server:

Once complete, Telegram will then commence its own tests to ensure you're connected to the server you've just configured. If you'd like to disconnect from the server, follow the same steps but select > "Disable proxy" and you'll revert to your original connection.
